MTA HANOI2017 is returning for its fifth edition with a slew of esteemed international exhibitors showcasing a variety of products that is launched in Vietnam for the first time.
Hanoi, 20 September 2017 – Building on the long-standing success of its previous editions, and relatively steady growth in the local manufacturing sector, MTA exhibition series is ready to open its doors to Hanoi in October 2017.
On the back of booming economic growth, a continuing inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) and a youthful labor force, Vietnam is becoming Asia's new manufacturing hub. The Southeast Asia country has gradually established itself as one of the most attractive investment destinations in the region. The influx of foreign-owned manufacturing conglomerates setting up production bases in Vietnam has created new demand throughout the entire value chain. As a result, smaller firms wanting to keep up with the ever-evolving industry, and local support services looking to join the global supply chain are urged to take ready steps to upgrade technology and level-up their capabilities.
Against this positive backdrop, MTA HANOI, the Northern Vietnam’s largest and most international manufacturing tradeshow, is set to return at an opportune time, providing a business matching and technology sourcing platform for manufacturers, suppliers and industry buyers alike within and beyond the far North of Vietnam.
Speaking on behalf of the organizer of MTA HANOI2017, Mr. BT Tee, General Manager of UBM VES said: "With over a decade of manufacturing industry experience in Vietnam, we have long realized that this country is too large (and long) for one primary event – MTA VIETNAM in Ho Chi Minh City to effectively cater for everyone’s needs. Our clients have always commented that although the northern manufacturing marketplace is half the size of Ho Chi Minh City, it is growing at twice the rate. This has held true and dictated that we develop an event uniquely for Northern Vietnam with Hanoi as the epicentre.”
“As we continually improve our promotional reach to surrounding factories and buyers, we are very confident that MTA HANOI will serve the manufacturing community well in delivering the necessary technologies and training skills which the industry requires to remain globally competitive, and look forward to serving more factories looking to set up in and around Hanoi,” he also added.
Industry bigwigs show up at MTA HANOI2017
Touted as the most relevant trade event catering to the Northern Vietnam's manufacturing market, MTA HANOI2017 is scheduled to commence on 11 October at the International Centre of Exhibition (I.C.E) in Hanoi. Into its fifth edition, the three-day expo has proven to be the procurement ground of choice as it brings together a full array of cutting-edge technologies and innovations in the fields of precision engineering, machine tools and metalworking.
Since its inception in 2010, MTA HANOI has seen unwavering support from leading local and regional manufacturers, with its exhibitor portfolio growing stronger each year. This is a firm testament to the importance of the show as well as the vibrancy of the local manufacturing landscape. Esteemed regional and international industry heavyweights that visitors can look forward to this year include: Big Daishowa, Beijing Jingdiao, Carl Zeiss, Dine, Doosan Infracore, Fischer Instrumentation, Makino, Marposs, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitutoyo, Nikon, NT Tool, Optical Gaging, Renishaw, Sandvik, Sodick, Sumitomo and more. The event also sees an uptick growth in local participation where a wide range of local industry pioneers such as Cybertech, Tinh Ha, Bibus, Van Su Loi, CAD/CAM amongst others, have already confirmed their presence at the upcoming showcase.
Adding to the vast array of independent exhibitors is the gathering of 7 country group pavilions from Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Strongly supported by international trade bodies, government and commercial agencies, these pavilions will host a slew of exhibitors who are all geared up to meet, network and introduce their native's most innovative products to thousands of interested buyers.
